Teacher’s Contest : A Creative Element in Teaching

Terms & Conditions

  1. The contest is open only to early childhood educators using the SpringBoard Preschool Program Subject series, i-series, or FLN series.
  2. The last day of submission is September 30, 2026. Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  3. No responsibility will be accepted for entries not received, for whatever reason.
  4. Upload an image of your puppet and a demonstration video of storytelling in the Google form. 
  5. Inappropriate concepts, images, and videos, as well as low-quality (unclear) images and videos, will be disqualified without explanation. No communication will be given to the participants.
  6. Copied ideas will be disqualified. 
  7. A video should be based on story for the age group of 2.5 to 6 years (Playgroup, Nursery, Junior Kindergarten, and Senior Kindergarten).
  8. The video should not be longer than 3 minutes.
  9. Maintaining basic etiquette while making videos will be appreciated.
  10. We understand that videos submitted may have students, and therefore such material may not be used by us without prior consent, and the same will be deleted upon completion of the contest.
  11. Planet-E hold the rights to use images / videos of the participant’s work in positive light on various platforms for marketing and academic purposes.
  12. More than one entry per teacher will be disqualified. However, any number of teachers per school can participate. For example, in a school that has 3 Nursery classes/divisions, all 3 teachers can participate in the contest, but each teacher will have to submit different content and different forms.
  13. The participant will get an E-certificate of participation, and the winner will get a E-certificate of appreciation and a surprise gift.
  14. The decision about winners will be final and binding to all participants. No queries will be entertained.
  15. No communication will be made to the participants who are disqualified or not selected as winners.
  16. An educators / teacher indicates that they agree to be bound by these terms and conditions by entering this contest.

FAQ's for TATVA Contest 2026

1. Who is eligible to participate?

Early childhood educators / teachers who use the SpringBoard Preschool Program [program refers to the entire package of Subject series (9 books minimum) or Integrated series (i-series) or FLN series, not individual books]. Your school should be registered with us for educational services.

2. What is the duration of the contest?

The contest will begin from August 1, 2026, and will end on September 30, 2026.

3. What is the entry fee?

There is no entry fee for this contest.

4. Can I make more than one puppet?

Yes, you can make more than one puppet, depending on the story you are going to demonstrate in the video.

5. Can I use different types of puppets? For example, stick puppet, sock puppet, or box puppet in the same content?

Yes, you can use different types of puppets but should demonstrate using them in the same video.

6. Which age group will the participant create the video for?

The participants will have to do storytelling in class with children and take a video on how creatively the story has been narrated. The age range for pre-schoolers is 2.5 to 6 years (Playgroup, Nursery, Junior Kindergarten, and Senior Kindergarten).

8. How can the teacher / educator submit her work?

Upload an image of your puppets and a video of its demonstration on how creatively you have used the same puppets in teaching stories in the Google form. Video should not be edited for speed or music; fast forward video will not be approved.

9. What are the judgment criteria?

10. Who will judge the contest?

A group of professionals from Planet-E and its associate guests who hold postgraduate degrees in Human development and Early Childhood Care and Education will be judging the contest.

12. What’s there to win?
  • Each participant will receive an E-Certificate of Participation (by email).
  • The winner will receive E-Certificate of Appreciation (by email) & Surprise Gift.
13. What is there for participant educators and participant school on score board?

If 1 teacher or more than 1 teacher wins the school will earn 100 points per grade. For example, if the Nursery teacher wins, the school gets 100 points, and if the Jr. KG teacher also wins, the school gets an additional 100 points.

14. What is the deadline for submission?

The submission deadline is September 30, 2026. 

15. When are the winners going to be announced?
