Terms & Conditions

  1. The contest is open for all children aged 2.5 years to 6 years studying in class Playgroup to Senior Kindergarten with the SpringBoard Preschool Program (subject series, i-series or FLN series) by Periwinkle Books, authored by Planet-E.
  2. Upload the child’s artwork in the ‘Participation Form’ in PDF or image / photo format.
  3. The contest begins from 1st August 2026 and ends on 10th September 2026. Entries received after this date will not be accepted.
  4. Winners will be announced on 30th September 2026.
  5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  6. Inappropriate submission, images, as well as low-quality (unclear) images, will be disqualified without explanation. No communication will be given to the participants.
  7. Do not upload your child’s photograph. Children’s photographs are not required.
  8. More than one entry per child will be disqualified.
  9. The participant will get an E-certificate of participation, and the winner will get an E-certificate of appreciation and a surprise gift.
  10. School will receive 100 points for participating regardless of the number of participants & 200 points if their 1 student or more than 1 student wins.
  11. Planet-E hold the rights to use images / videos of the participant’s work in positive light on various platforms for marketing and academic purposes.
  12. The decision of the jury will be final and binding with no explanation due to anyone.
  13. By entering this contest, an entrant or participant is indicating his / her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

FAQ's for Fingerprint Ganesha 2026

1. What is Fingerprint?

Fingerprint‘ is a simple and creative art technique where you use your fingers or thumb to make impressions on paper using ink or colours.

2. Who is eligible to participate?

Children studying with the SpringBoard Preschool Program by Periwinkle Books, authored by Planet-E. This means students in the SpringBoard Preschool Program from age 2.5 years to 6 years who use the SpringBoard Preschool Program [program refers to the entire package of subject series (9 books minimum) or i-series (integrated monthly program) or FLN series, not individual books]. Your school should be registered for educational services.

3. What is the entry fee?

There is no entry fee for this contest.

4. How to design the Ganesha with Fingerprint technique and materials will be needed?
  • Printout of the Contest – Fingerprint Ganesha 2026-27 template.
  • Fingerprint it with only ecofriendly material i.e. – turmeric paste (haldi), Kumkum paste, beetroot paste or sindoor paste (orange).
  • Child can dip the finger or thumb in the ecofriendly material (mentioned above) of your choice and print it on the template of Ganesha which is provided.
  • Do not use any paints or colours.
5. Can children take help of parents / adults?
  • Every child must independently design the Ganesha.
  • Parents / adults can help children for the submission of their work.
6. How can my child submit his / her artwork?

Upload a clear PDF / image of your child’s participatory artwork in the ‘Participation Form’. Submit the final product image. Note: Do not upload the child’s photograph.

7. What is the deadline of submission?

The contest will begin on August 1, 2026, and will end on September 10, 2026.

8. What are the judgment criteria?

9. What’s there to win?
  • Each participant will receive an E-Certificate of Participation (by email).
  • The winner will receive E-Certificate of Appreciation (by email) and a surprise gift.

11. What is there for participant school on score board?
  • It’s an opportunity for school to collect points and move close to the trophy. School will receive 100 points for participating regardless of the number of participants & 200 points if their 1 student or more than 1 student wins.
12. When will winners be announced?

Winners will be announced on September 30, 2026.

13. Who will judge the contest?
  • A group of professionals from Planet-E and its associated guests who hold post-graduate degrees in Human Development and Early Childhood Care and Education will be judging the contest.
