Children’s Contest 2024-25

 

A contest to foster the Aesthetic and Cultural Development of a child. It is for preschoolers studying at SpringBoard Partner Schools using the program. It is a contest for making a mat independently with minimal assistance from adults / parents.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The contest is open for all children aged 3 years to 6 years studying in class Nursery to Senior Kindergarten with the SpringBoard Preschool Programme (subject series, i-series or FLN series) by Periwinkle Books, authored by Planet-E
  2. To participate in the contest, click on the given link: Participation Form
  3. The contest begins on 12 th August 2024 and ends on 15 th September 2024.
  4. Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  5. No responsibility will be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  6. To design a mat, participants must create his / her own artwork and need not follow the same method as shown in the video.
  7. Upload the child’s artwork in the ‘Participation Form’ in video format.
  8. Inappropriate submission, videos, images, as well as low-quality (unclear) videos and images, will be disqualified without explanation. No communication will be given to the participants.
  9. Do not upload your child’s photograph. Children’s photographs are not required.
  10. All selected images will be shared with all SpringBoard Preschool Program school partners and also uploaded on our Planet-E social media platforms.
  11. By entering this contest, an entrant or participant is indicating his / her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  12. The participant will get an e-certificate of participation, and the winner will get a certificate of appreciation and a surprise gift.
  13. The school earns 50 points for participating and 100 points for winning.
  14. The decision of the jury will be final and binding with no explanation due to anyone.

FAQ's for TATVA Contest 2024

1. Who is eligible to participate?

Children aged 3 years to 6 years studying with the SpringBoard Preschool Program [program refers to the entire package of subject series or i-series (integrated monthly program) or FLN series, not individual books]. Your school should be registered for educational services.

2. How do I participate in the contest?

Fill out the participation form link given below to participate in this contest.

3. What is the entry fee?

There is no entry fee for this contest.

4. What to submit?

The child needs to weave-a-mat with either satin ribbon, tissue ribbon, chart paper, coconut leaves, banana leaves etc. Child should not use the scissors for cutting. Parent / adult can cut the strips for the child. The entire activity needs to be conducted under adult supervision. Minimum size of the mat – 8”x 8”.

5. How can my child submit his / her artwork?

Record the video of child making the artwork, not mandatory to show the face of a child. Upload a clear Video and image of your child’s participatory artwork in the ‘Participation Form’.

Note: Do not upload child’s photograph.

6. What is the deadline of submission?

The contest will start on August 12, 2024, and will end on September 15, 2024.

7. Can children take help of parents / adults?
  • Every child must independently design the mat.
  • Parents / adults can record the video while child is making the artwork and then help child for the submission of their work.

9. What will my child be judged on?
  • Criteria for judgement is:
    a. Originality
    b. Creativity
    c. Child’s independent work
10. What is there for participant student?
  • Each participant will receive an E-Certificate of Participation (by email).
  • The winner participant will receive Certificate of Appreciation and a surprise gift.

12. What is there for participant’s school?

14. Who will judge the contest?

A group of professionals from Planet-E and its associated guests who hold post-graduate degrees in Human Development and Early Childhood Care and Education will be judging the contest.
