Teacher’s Contest 2025-26

 

A contest only for SpringBoard Preschool Program by Periwinkle, organized by Planet-E to encourage preschool educators to conceptualize, create & implement guidelines for Foundational Literacy, Numeracy & concepts from World Around Us un alignment with NCF-FS-2022. This plays a significant role in enhancing classroom environment, student engagement & learning.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The contest is open only to Early Childhood Educators using the SpringBoard Preschool Program (subject series for playgroup, or FLN series for Nursery, Jr. KG & Sr. KG).
  2. To participate in the contest, click on the given link: Participation Form
  3. The contest will start on July 1, 2025, and will end on September 25, 2025.
  4. Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  5. No responsibility will be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  6. Inappropriate submission, videos, as well as low-quality (unclear) video, will be disqualified without explanation. No communication will be given to the participants.
  7. Copied ideas will be disqualified.
  8. All selected videos will be shared with all SpringBoard Preschool Program school partners and also uploaded on our Planet-E social media platforms.
  9. The participant will get an e-certificate of participation, and the winner will get a certificate of appreciation for all the categories.
  10. The winners will be announced on October 18, 2025.
  11. You can participate in all 3 categories: 1) Language & Literacy, 2) Numeracy & Math, and 3) Concept of World Around Us. For example, in the school that has 3 Nursery classes/divisions, all 3 teachers can participate in all 3 categories, but all 3 teachers work should be different. Copied ideas will be disqualified.
  12. The decision of the jury will be final and binding with no explanation due to anyone.
  13. By entering this contest, an entrant or participant is indicating his / her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

FAQ's for Learning Through Games 2025-26 Contest

1. Who is eligible to participate?

Early childhood educators / teachers who use the SpringBoard Preschool Program [program refers to the entire package of SpringBoard subject series for Playgroup & SpringBoard FLN series for Nursery, Jr. KG & Sr. KG]. Your school should be registered for educational services.

2. How to participate in the contest?

3. What is the entry fee?

There is no entry fee for this contest.

Learning Through Games: Participants need to use SpringBoard FLN flashcards provided in the kit with books or create their own new flashcards, and they will have to play a game in class to display how creatively the topic was taught or revised with children.

Click a ‘video’ of teacher playing a game with children and upload it in the ‘Participation Form’.

6. How can the participant educator submit his/her work?

In the Google Form, upload a video demonstrating how creatively you have conducted the flashcard game with the students (flashcards provided in the kit or the teachers creating their own new flashcards). Video should not be modified for speed (fast forward video will not be accepted).

7. Can I participate in all the categories?

Yes, you can participate in all 3 categories: 1) Language & Literacy, 2) Numeracy & Math, and 3) Concept of World Around Us. For example, in the school that has 3 Nursery classes/divisions, all 3 teachers can participate in all 3 categories, but all 3 teachers work should be different. Copied ideas will be disqualified.

8. What’s there to win?
  • Each participant will receive an E-Certificate of Participation (by email).
  • The winner will receive Certificate of Appreciation.
9. When are the winners going be announced?

The winners will be announced on October 18, 2025.

11. Who will judge the contest?

A team of professionals from Planet-E and its associated guests who hold post-graduate degrees in Human Development and Early Childhood Care and Education will be judging the contest.

12. What are the judgment criteria?
  • Age-appropriate content
  • A neat presentation of the activity
  • Originality of concept
  • Easy to understand
  • Quality of video
  • Explanation of the concept
13. What is there for participant educators and participant school on score board?

If 1 teacher or more than 1 teacher wins in 1 category, or more than 1 category, the school will earn 100 points per grade. For example, if the nursery teacher wins, the school gets 100 points, and if the Jr. KG teacher also wins, the school gets an additional 100 points.
